Professor Ying Li is a specially appointed professor for high-level talents at Dalian Maritime University and serves as the leader of the innovation team in the national key areas of maritime traffic safety and spatial information technology. She has dedicated to the research and development of oil spill monitoring and management technology and equipment, making outstanding contributions to the improvement of international oil spill emergency response capabilities and marine environmental protection.  She has been the PI of more than 20 national, provincial, and ministerial level projects, including national science and technology support major projects, national marine public welfare key projects, national key research and development plans, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The achievement has obtained more than 30 national invention patents, won the second prize of national technological invention as the first author, and received more than 20 national provincial and ministerial level awards such as the special prize for technological invention and the first prize for scientific and technological progress of the China Institute of Navigation, and the first prize for scientific and technological progress of Liaoning Province.
