ISCO had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Clean Gulf Conference & Exhibition November 18-20, 2024 in Houston, TX USA. More than 100 exhibitors showcased their products and services to conference attendees, several were first-time exhibitors who were local Texas businesses. ISCO Board of Directors member, Jane Delgado staffed the exhibit booth greeting current as well as potential new members while explaining ISCO’s mission and member benefits. “It’s always a pleasure to meet with members of the spill response industry to discuss developing technologies and procedures required to effectively respond to future oil spills,” commented Ms. Delgado. “The networking events were a great way to meet with everyone in a relaxed setting and make meaningful connections with the community.”
Clean Gulf unites leaders from industry, government, and environmental organizations to share information and ideas that will help enhance their readiness and response capabilities for environmental emergencies. The robust conference program included seven tracks with over 30 sessions and 80 speakers. Sessions included case studies and lessons-learned on current, real-world events and issues impacting the Gulf Coast and beyond, such as the Francis Scott Key Bridge response, alternative fuels, battery response, legacy OSROs, conducting effective exercises, the Pelican Island Bridge Allison response, and Hurricane Beryl and other storms in 2024.
