PERU – IOPC Funds Vational Workshop, Lima, 28th March
The IOPC Funds have been invited to participate in a technical and claims for compensation workshop for the Dirección General de Capitanias y Guardacostas (Directorate-General of Captaincies and Coast Guard of Peru), from 28 to 30 March 2023 in Lima, Peru.
The workshop is organised by ITOPF and aims to strengthen cooperation with the relevant national government agencies. It will provide an introduction to the international liability and compensation regime, including the types of claims covered, and encourage preparedness ahead of any major oil pollution incident.
