Vietnam Environmental Incident Response Center (“SOS Center”) has a network of the response stations in many provinces and cities in Vietnam (up to 90 stations by January 2021). We responded to 110 environmental incidents so far, especially on land and near shore. SOS Center proves an important role in fast, effective responding to oil/chemical spills that occur on land (factories, industrial zones, warehouses, roads…), on water (ports, harbors, jetties, waterways, shorelines…) by the stand-by forces of the SOS Center’s response station(s) at the nearest distance to the incident location.
