As part of Vikoma’s ongoing product development plan they will be exhibiting their Komara Midi 2 Duplex skimmer which comes complete with a built-in on-board pump and interchangeable discs and brushes.

They believe this will become a favourite for operators as it is quick and easy to deploy, has no need for a separate pump and has fewer hoses. 

By integrating the pump, the unit has a smaller footprint than a skimmer with separate pump, so less vessel deck space needed and cheaper /easier to transport.  

The skimmer has been fully tested and gives superior performance as is expected from our world class Komara skimmer range.

The skimmer is manually portable as it weighs only 47kg and can be manually deployed (two-man lift) or by a single lifting sling.
