On June 19th, the Azneft Production Union of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) received reports of an oil spill in the Dubendi beach area. An oil slick was detected during an initial inspection carried out by vessels and a helicopter on the water between Pirallahi Island and Dubendi.
