Guyana Chronicle: Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) has opened a new Subsea Response facility at the Emergency Response Base at the Vreed-en-Hoop Shorebase Inc (VEHSI) facility in Guyana.
The facility now houses the capping stack and other subsea well-intervention equipment. Its location is expected to improve access to specialist resources for offshore spill response in Guyana and the wider region. The opening follows the relocation of the Global Rapid Response System from the Guyana Shore Base Inc. facility to VEHSI.
