LGM LLC and Parker Systems Inc. invite members of the oil spill response community to attend a Visitor Day at Ohmsett on Thursday, October 22, 2026, weather permitting, to observe one day of full-scale testing of the TurboBoom™, an innovative high-speed oil containment and recovery system currently under development.

The Visitor Day will take place at the Ohmsett National Oil Spill Response Research & Renewable Energy Test Facility, located at:

Visitor space is limited, and attendance will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. At this time, attendance is limited to U.S. citizens due to the additional access requirements and processing time for foreign nationals at Ohmsett.

Because Ohmsett is located on a U.S. Navy installation, all visitors must complete and submit the required Ohmsett/Navy Visitor Access Request Form (SECNAV 5512). The form and current access instructions are available on the Ohmsett website:

Attendees should submit their completed access forms by October 5, 2026, or sooner if possible.
Information on nearby accommodations and other logistical details will be provided to those planning to attend the Visitor Day.
The Visitor Day will provide attendees an opportunity to see the TurboBoom operating at full scale and observe its performance during controlled testing at Ohmsett. Testing and the Visitor Day are subject to weather and operating conditions.
