The 8th iteration of Oil Spill India (OSI) 2026 took place on 6–7 October 2026 at the JW Marriott, Aerocity, New Delhi, focusing on the theme “Coastal Guardians: Future-Proofing India’s Waters in an Era of Emerging Risks”.
The conference brought together speakers and organizations from government, research, and maritime industries.
Key Discussions & Focus Areas included coordinated national approaches to maritime incidents, including pollution response, salvage, firefighting, wreck removal, and hazardous cargo management and the evolution of international liability and compensation regimes (including contributions from the IOPC Funds).
