“Yesterday, my term as Director of the IOPC Funds was renewed for a second 5-year term. I’m very grateful to the Member States for their continued support and trust.

When I was elected in 2021, I promised to Serve the Member States and victims of oil pollution, to Protect the interests of the Funds, and to Adapt to the changing needs. I have sought to honour that commitment every day.

I have been fortunate to work alongside colleagues in the Secretariat whose professionalism and support have been a great asset. I have also benefited greatly from the advice, encouragement, and cooperation of Member States and our partner organisations over the years. The progress made over the past five years reflects a collective effort. I’m also grateful the Government of Norway for its continued support.

My commitment remains unchanged: Serve, Protect and Adapt.”
