ISCO member Aqua-Guard demonstrated its new CFSH sheen recovery system at an open house in North Vancouver recently; visitors saw the CFSH operating in our test tank filled with 5-micron thick diesel fuel and experienced first-hand how its Carbon-Fibre Super Hydrophobic recovery surface attracts oil while repelling water. The system is designed to mechanically recover ultra-thin oil sheen down to 0.08 microns with almost no water pickup—well below the 50-micron threshold traditionally considered unrecoverable.
