Eco: The results of the second-annual International Plastic Pellet Count are in, and they support what organizers suspected: No matter where you live, there’s a good chance that nurdles pollute waterways near you. More than 1,000 volunteers surveyed waterways at 249 sites across 31 states, the District of Columbia and six countries. Combined, they found nearly 1.1 million pellets across more than half the surveyed sites.
