PAN Qingqing received M.S. degree in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy in 2008 and Ph.D. degree in Fluids Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2014. She is currently an associate researcher and forecaster with National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center (NMEFC) of China. Her main research interests are oil spill forecasting, ocean circulation modeling, CFD and multi-phase flows. 

National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center (NMEFC), affiliated to Ministry Natural Resources (MNR) of China, was founded in 1965. After more than 50 years of development, NMEFC now is the national operation and research center for marine environmental forecasting and marine hazard warning. We provides advisory information to the public, the government and industries, in order to ensure the safety of ocean activities and the sustainable development of the ocean economy.
