A new group of EUROWA basic responders completed their certification in early October during a training session in Helsinki led by WWF Finland trainers. The course covered essential skills for the initial days of an oiled wildlife response, including bird rehydration through tube feeding and field capture techniques. Participants practiced with “Roboduck,” a training tool that sparked public interest and even ventured into the water.
