An oil spill occurred off Changi, Singapore, on October 28 during a bunkering operation between a Bahamas-flagged bulk carrier, Ines Corrado, and a licensed bunker tanker. The incident, which took place at around 5.40 pm, involved an estimated overflow of 5 tonnes of oil. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) dispatched craft by 5.50 pm to spray dispersants and mitigate the impact. There have been no disruptions to navigation, and no oil sightings have been reported at sea or onshore. Malaysian authorities were notified, and MPA is investigating the incident.
