Change of Project Manager for IMO-Ipieca Global Initiative for Southeast Asia (GISEA) Project

After many years managing the IMO-Ipieca Global Initiative for Southeast Asia (GISEA) Project, Mr. Nai Ming Lee is returning to OSRL Singapore at the end of February 2025.

He will be replaced by the new project manager Mr. Tai Hong Nguyen.  Nai Ming expressed his sincere gratitude to all GISEA partners for their support during his assignment to the Project. Nai Ming commented that “much was achieved, despite disruptions caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic; this said, there is never an end point to the journey, as we work collectively to strengthen marine spill preparedness across the region by enhancing national capabilities. The success of GISEA is contingent upon the success of our partner countries; on this note, the Project seeks continued support, which I am confident will be rendered to Tai Hong”.

Announcing the change in staffing both IMO and Ipieca recognised Nai Ming’s many years of contribution to the GI SEA and looked forward to working with Tai Hong, who may be contacted as follows:
