Registration is now open for the final session in the IOPC Funds’ current webinar series.  The last module in this popular series began in March with an introduction to the International Convention on Liability and Compensation for Damage in Connection with the Carriage of Hazardous and Noxious Substances by Sea (the HNS 2010 Convention).  This next session follows on from that but turns the focus to some of the practical aspects of implementing the Convention, specifically reporting and contributions.   

With eight Contracting States having ratified the Protocol and several others expressing firm commitments to accede in the near future, the Convention is expected to enter into force in 2027 and it is essential that all key stakeholders understand the crucial aspect of reporting and are aware of all the tools and support available to help them. 

The webinar, which will be delivered in English only, will take place on 28 May 2025.  Access to past webinars is not currently available, and those interested are encouraged to attend live.

Each webinar consists of a short 15‐minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.

To accommodate participants from different time zones, each session is conducted at two separate times – 10:00AM UK time and 4:00PM UK time.
