Up to 5,000 Gallons (22,730 Litres) of diesel was reportedly spilled into the inner harbour / marina in Baltimore MD. USA last Wednesday 4^th June during filling of emergency generator storage tanks for the Johns Hopkins Medical facility.  

Originally thought to be 2,000 gallons, the spill quantity was subsequently revised upwards.

The Inner harbour is essentially closed off while cleanup work progresses:
