Technical Adviser (Marine Pollution) – based in London with extensive worldwide travel

The Role   

This role involves emergency response and attending on site at oil and chemical spills globally, delivering advice to international governments and other parties. You will be assessing claims for compensation, undertaking regular presentations, and running workshops as part of our preparedness and education work.  

Skills and Experience  

A key requirement of this role is a higher degree in science, engineering or a related discipline, strong written and oral presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal skills; as well as availability to travel at emergency short notice. Relevant practical experience in a scientific/technical role is important and pollution control experience is a distinct advantage, as is fluency in a second language to English.
